Our apprentice counsellors are in the process of completing their master’s degree in an accredited counselling program. Master counsellors have completed their master’s degree, and are in the process of becoming registered with an oversight body. Registered counsellors are overseen by the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors or BC College of Social Workers, and their services are commonly covered by insurance plans.
All of our counsellors have received additional training above and beyond the minimum requirements of their program. Because the field of counselling is constantly and evolving, we also engage in regular upgrading, so that we can offer the widest and most current support to our clients. We also engage in ongoing group and private supervision to ensure our work adheres to ethical standards and best practices.
